Morning Coffee
Tickles my lips with frothy cream
Delights my tongue, so sweet
Warm and wonderful like a dream
My morning coffee treat
Warmth slips past my waiting lips
And melts upon my tongue
So happy I can hardly grip
Its warmth makes morning young
That very first taste warms my soul
From my tongue down to my knees
I feel it filling me with delight
Every last bit of me pleased
A little sigh as I drink it in
A little breath of delight
A little sip, the greatest pleasure
Erasing the fog of dark night
Fill me again as the morning begins
Run through the course of my veins
Every sip a perfect pleasure
Let me have you now once again…
I love my coffee
