Over the Bridge
Under the bridge, the cars zoom by
Their motors fly on the highest highs
Melodies linger for a second or two
Then along comes another with a melody new
Under the bridge, they don’t have a clue
About what’s happening above with me and you
They don’t see the magic that this bridge brings
They drive on by not seeing a thing
But over the bridge, the air is dancing
Two lovers so free in magic romancing
Fingers entwined in curls so thick
Lips exploring in tentative lick
Over the bridge, two hearts beat as one
Slowly coming together, composure undone
Slowly bringing lips to envelop each others’
Lips dancing in sweetness that we discovered
Over the bridge, our bodies drew close
Soft meeting hard as we locked nose to nose
The smell of my cheeks, the scent of your neck
It was not very long before I was a wreck
It was sweet, it was good, as lovers delighted
Passion burned for the other as we finally united
We came hand in hand on this autumn night
To do what was sweet and was tastefully right
The taste of my tongue that ticked your own
The feel of your soft lips welcoming me home
The stars in the bright sky sparkling rays
The kiss of new lovers begging to stay
The cool crisp night of the autumn breeze
By holding each other in warmth with a tease
Shivering hands on warm bodies’ skin
Feasting on warmth and seeking within
Orange leaves and yellow ones under our feet
Up high on this bridge where lovers meet
A night to remember in this magical place
And stars in my eyes as I stared at your face
So sweet and so tender, these hungry kisses
Drawing us closer to all that I’d missed
Your hands are warm and wandering over my skin
Your firm body pressing to gather me in
Oh, what a night, a night where time stood still
Where you warmed me up from the autumn chill
A night full of stories, of life and of passion
A night that gave fully of lovers’ sweet ration
