Velvet Sky-Covered Kiss
Under the velvet, star-covered sky
Two lovers met, my lover and I
Under the shine of the glowing moon
Two lovers kissed not a moment too soon
Under the blanket of a star-lit night
Two lovers gazed in utter delight
Both faces shining love for the other
Both lovers free under night’s cover
A walk and a kiss, a kiss and a walk
Lingering moments of kisses and talk
Embraces so tight they melted together
Both wishing, wishing this could be forever
Two hearts race-racing in anticipation
Hungry eyes, hungry lips growing impatient
He touched her face, she shivered in bliss
Fingers grazing as they mapped out their kiss
Wrapped in curls, soft silk, held tight
Hearts tap-tapping together in lovers’ delight
Whispered breath, her heart unbound
The rushing sweetness now was found
He held her face and stared in her eyes
She felt delight, to her sweet surprise
The stars shone above as this kiss told all
Of lovers’ warmth on this cold night of fall
He smiled, she followed, surrendered to bliss
All from this sweet, velvet star-covered kiss
